Dog photography training with John Ferrett

Dog photography Morayshire Scotland

I’m often asked by my clients and people who follow my work about my photography training. I have held many 1-2-1 training sessions covering basic to advanced camera skills specifically focusing on Dog Photography. Sessions are tailored to the individual and can be arranged to suit your needs.

What do we cover?

  • ISO, shutter speed, aperture
  • Equipment – advice on what is needed and how to get the very best from your kit
  • Tips and techniques – all my inside tips learnt over the years
  • Action shots – we will look at composition, focusing and sharpness
  • Portraits – exploring light and techniques to get stunning images

For dog photography, we work with live dogs on a real-time photo shoot, giving you first-hand knowledge on everything you need to know about this exciting genre of photography.

“My vision is to have a friendly and supportive club where members can share experiences and at the same time receive group and individual bespoke training and support.”

The reason I have set up the training group is to give photographers and pet lovers ongoing support and advice enabling them to take professional images and to take their photography to a whole new level.

So if you are a hobby photographer or just would love to take your own professional-style photos or an experienced photographer who is looking to improve or learn this Genre, we cover everything you need.

This group is a place that will provide training and constant support for everyone

I have been a professional photographer for 10 years, specialising in dog photography. I have loved working with pet owners/amateur and professional photographers and now, passing on my knowledge to like-minded people.
